1. Connect the power cable to the light table and a power source. 

2. Open the flap of the film carrier and place a film negative stripe in the grooves. Close the film carrier flap. 

3. Insert the film carrier into the light table through an opening on either side. 

4. Attach height extension sections to the top of the light table using the bayonet lock. To connect the height extension section insert one section into another and rotate clockwise to lock. Extension sections of different heights can be stacked in any order. 

5. Attach the lens mount section to the top height extension section. 

6. Unscrew all step-up filter rings that are smaller than the filter thread diameter of your lens. Screw the remaining set of step-up filter rings to your lens. 

7. Place your lens on the top of the lens mount section facing down. The 67mm step-up ring will tightly fit into the lens mount section. 

8. Activate the illumination light with the switch on the power cable. 

9. Focus your lens on the surface of the film. 

10. Check your framing: you want the film frame to fill your digital sensor as much as possible. If necessary, adjust the distance between your lens and the film using a different combination of extension sections (step 4).
